Bella Contact Lenses Let the Eyes Speak on TV

Branded Content

The trend-setting contact lens brand, Bella, had released a powerful TV commercial to reach out to its audience over the COVID-19 pandemic. Featuring its brand ambassador, famed Lebanese actress, Nadine N. Njiem, the 25-second ad had sent out a hard-hitting message about ignoring negativity by choosing silence.

Owing to the lockdown happening in many countries, Optical Supplies Co. had chosen not to release new contact lens colors for the Bella brand during the recently concluded month of Ramadan. However, the brand continued to engage with the audience by releasing an empowering message through television broadcast.

The Campaign’s Message

The commercial reflected on the real-life choices made by Nadine Njiem about upholding her work with pride, focus, and moving on with success despite the public’s criticism on her personal choices.

“My eyes speak louder than my voice ever will.” An on-screen message appeared towards the end of the clip as Nadine remained silent throughout the press conference.

A representative of Optical Supplies Co. told Eyezone, that there is a strong connection between the brand, Bella, and Nadine N. Njiem, who has been its ambassador for almost four years and counting.

“We are delighted with the partnership with Nadine. In fact, the color she wore in the commercial was named after her. It is called Crystal N – N which stands for Nadine from the Elite Collection. The commercial was inspired by the power of look through the eyes – that speaks a thousand words – instead of responding to harsh critique.”

Response from Viewers

The commercial aired on channel MBC and was well-received by the audience, creating a buzz across social media platforms. The commercial was signed by the creative film director, Angy Akly Jammal.

Optical Supplies Company aims to deliver its new palette of colors at the right opportunity when the situation has returned to normal and business has resumed in the country.
