Head of the JOPAL Scientific Program Committee and Executive Director at Eyezone Institute of Opticianry, Dr. Nezar Damati, OD MBA CIPT, together with Eyezone Institute’s Assistant Training Director, Dr. Moayad Al-Deek MSc. BSc. Optometry, share the success of the Second Jordanian Palestinian Optometry Conference (JOPAL 2016) organized by The General Association of Optics, in association with the Palestinian Council of Optometry and Optics, which are both members of the Eastern Mediterranean Council of Optometry (EMCO) and World Council of Optometry (WCO).
The event’s theme “Eye care management for better ocular health and vision” aims to underscore the key value of advancing management of and catering to every eye health professional. The event was held from March 23-25 at Le Meridien Hotel, Amman, Jordan. Delegates had nonstop access to relevant learning, as well as, discourse on various imperative topics on scientific and technological advancements in optometry brought about by local and international speakers.
