Etnia Barelona Le Jardin

This spring, the Barcelona-based eyewear firm is adding six new eyewear models to its nature-inspired SS20 collection.

Etnia Barcelona’s Le Jardin collection is an ode to the floral displays of the earliest French private gardens, such as that of the fabulous Palace of Versailles. These new designs take inspiration from the textures and colors of flowers such as daisies, lilies, roses and peonies. This spring, the brand will transport wearers to the natural world.

Etnia Barcelona is an independent eyewear brand that was founded in 2001. The company has offices in Barcelona, Miami, Vancouver and Hong Kong, and can be found in over 60 countries with 14,000 points of sale throughout the world. It now has its first Flagship Store, located in the iconic Born neighborhood of Barcelona.

Its new collection includes a variety of over-the-top and colorful frames reflecting carefully-pruned vegetation. It also showcases oversized models, light ones that seek out symmetry by playing with double ultra-thin laminations and transparent colors that imitate light and water passing through flower petals.

The designs also feature a balance of textures and colors, owing to the artisanal production process used by the brand for its collections, with high quality materials such as cotton and wood for the frames and mineral glass for the lenses.

The new Etnia Barcelona collection is available in its Flagship Store in Barcelona and at select points of sale.
