The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness announced that Dr. Bruce Spivey, Secretary Treasurer, Ophthalmology Foundation has been appointed Group C Trustee on the IAPB Board. He will assume post with immediate effect and will serve until the next Board election.

Dr Spivey previously served on IAPB Board between 2003-2013. He has served a 20-year leadership role of the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), including the position of President between 2006-2014, and continues to serve on other Not for Profit Boards.
