The Macular Society, a UK-based non-profit organization, will hold an online event on Saturday, 10 September 2022, for its Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The sessions are devoted specifically to people with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), inherited retinal diseases and of working age, and will include ‘My Macular and Me’ session for those newly diagnosed friends and family.

Conference Highlights:

• Professor Simon Clark’s talk on the important role played by the ‘complement system’ in driving dry AMD
• Professor Linda Troeberg’s session on inherited retinal diseases
• An inspiring and entertaining talk with renowned British broadcast journalist, Peter White MBE

The event will also tackle the latest on treatments and research, as well as, practical advice for living with macular disease. Attendees will get the chance to raise questions to leading experts in the live Q&As. The 2022 Members’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) follows the conference. The event is fully online and free to attend.
