It was not just Oprah Winfrey’s rousing speech that made waves at the 2018 Golden Globes award recently; it was also her choice of eyewear that sent the makers – Sospiri eyewear trending on social media. Her glasses, a pair of stylish black horn-rims from the Sospiri Collection framed her face perfectly. She looked every bit her graceful and classy self with powerful personal style.
She was there at the Golden Globes to accept the Cecil B. DeMille Award, making her the first woman of color to receive the honorary nod. She delivered such an inspiring speech that the room erupted into an applause and gave her a standing ovation. “For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dared speak the truth to the power of those men,” said Winfrey. “But their time is up. Their time is up.”
