Ambakandawila, Sri Lanka, February 5-6, 2017: Our Children’s Vision, the global initiative upscaling, accelerating and expanding eye health services to more children around the world, hosted dozens of representatives from their international partner base. The meeting brought together leaders in the eye health and development field to scrutinize health integration models and resource mobilization strategies and discuss topics ranging from current eye health standards for children to the latest research in school health.
“We are bringing together some of the greatest minds in child eye health. It is critical that meetings like these take place to consolidate ideas and strategies for the Our Children’s Vision campaign. Our partners do amazing work, and have an incredible knowledge base – this is an opportunity to for all our partners to learn from one another in an effort to build stronger child eye health programs globally and create a unified voice for change,” said Prof Serge Resnikoff, Chair of the Global Advisory Board, Our Children’s Vision.
